Located in the Waboomskraal Hops Valley on the northern foothills of the Outeniqua Mountain Range, Highlands Lodge Mountain Retreat offers guests the experience of creating long-lasting memories in nature while kicking back and enjoying some “creature comforts”. Our log cabins are built on a 480-hectare property with 4 mountain peaks exceeding 1000m in altitude. Rich indigenous Fynbos covers the landscape giving way to an abundance of birdlife and natural wildlife often showing themselves on our hiking trails.
The road leading to our Mountain Retreat winds through the valley’s hops fields and apple orchards stirring up the excitement as you approach the foot of the mountain range.
